Conflict Evolution with Youth When YOU are the mediator

 Audience: Teachers, camp staff, recreational, and organizations that serve youth.

Time Frame: 2 hours

 A healthy, happy sense of well being depends largely on one’s ability to effectively communicate with significant people in life.  Where there’s communication, there’s likely to be conflict.  The goal of this model is to communicate through the conflict so that people can get what they need, feel less estranged and better understood.  Teaching conflict revolution is teaching a lifetime skill, whether it’s with children or adults.

Participants will:

• Learn a simple and repeatable model for use anywhere, that children can also learn
• Receive coaching tips for mediating
• Understand mediator short falls
• Practice until you feel confident!
